Boosting followership on social media has become a regular act on the internet over the past years, especially with some public figures that are eventually involved in such activities. To some who engages in this public scenario, the motives behind their actions are mostly traced to hyping and an attempt to build trust amongst its followers. Meanwhile, to others, it’s strictly for business and official reasons.

Going into the crypto space, using bots for trading is no longer new but using them on social media like twitter accounts are becoming rampant amongst prominent crypto guys. Following a trending rumour on twitter, Changpeng Zhao, the founder and CEO of Binance Coin and Binance crypto derivatives exchange, has been suspected of using bots on his Binance twitter account popularly known as @cz_binance.

According to Twitter, Binance official account has been detected of being under a bot intelligence to boost public views. Following ccn.com blog site, detection shows that Binance was misspelt as Binace – reflecting a grammatical error.

Further investigation is yet to reveal the whole scenario that has been aired over the past 48-hours now. Be it rumour or allegations, the outcome of the ongoing investigations will tell whether the story is true or false.

However, this rumour has generated a lot of controversy amongst CZ proponents and opponent on twitter since yesterday. Following a recent retweet by Jared Tate, the founder of Digibyte says:

Could the above retweet by Tete’s be out of the recent Digibyte delisting announcement on Poloneix handle where he mentioned “Poloniex has turned into a TRX shill factory” in his tweets earlier this month? Like we said earlier, the whole scene behind these issues will unveil as times go on.

Despite all the allegations, CZ is yet to make a comment or even respond to the suspected bots usage scenario as claimed by Twitter. Sooner or later, the truth of the aggregate matter will surface. For now, it’s still a suspected act and not yet confirmed factual, although further details will come as the event unfolds.
