XRP remains above $3.00 as It Resumes Bullish Ascent

XRP/USD Long-term Trend: Bullish

XRP hovers above the $3.00 support as it resumes bullish ascent. The cryptocurrency is trading below $3.50 high in expectation of a positive trend. The market peaked at $2.91 on December 2, 2024, after a price rise. On January 13, 2025, the bulls broke above the current high to hit $3.40. Buyers are still battling to push the altcoin above its $3.50 high. Meanwhile, XRP is trading above the breakout mark of $3.00 but below the resistance of $3.50.

On the upside, if the bulls break the $3.50 barrier, XRP will advance to the 1.618 Fibonacci extension or $4.38 high. XRP is now worth $3.04 at the time of writing. 

Daily Chart Indicators Reading: 

The price bars for XRP are far above the moving average lines, suggesting that the cryptocurrency may rise. Furthermore, a bullish crossover above the moving average lines indicates positive signs. Long candlestick wicks and tails are visible on the candlesticks.

XRP/USD Medium-term Trend: Ranging

The altcoin is confined in a range and will trend when the range-bound levels are broken. The price of XRP has been consolidating above the current support at $3.00 on the 4-hour chart, but the upward move has been thwarted by the resistance levels at $3.20 and $3.40.

Doji candlesticks dominate the price activity on the 4-hour chart. The altcoin consolidates and starts a range-bound move as a result of the Doji candlesticks. The lines of the moving average are flat horizontally. The price bars are currently between the moving average lines, suggesting that the cryptocurrency will continue to move sideways.

XRP holds above $3.00 as it resumes bullish ascent. The price movement has not changed as it consolidates above the current $3.00 support level. The crypto signal’s range is constrained as the altcoin keeps consolidating.
