Andreessen Horowitz (A16z), a California-based venture capital company, forecasted on Friday that creative startups and ventures will contribute to yet another development phase in cryptocurrency.
Through an official press release titled “The Crypto Price-Innovation Phase,” Andreessen Horowitz discusses how the last three bull cycles, along with the increasingly unpredictable trend, have come about.
Predicated on a 10-year analysis and actual analysis, the Venture capitalist discovered that all these phases of price-innovation begin with the rise of Bitcoin and other Altcoins, which also keeps getting people involved and social media speaking specifically regarding. The rise in interest sparks fresh concepts resulting in new start-ups and initiatives, and this, in turn, pushes prices even higher.

A16z does not forecast when crypto will reach this fourth phase. But several of the initiatives it proposes may play a vital role in the industry’s next evolution, are indeed, somewhat predictably, those in which it has investments.
Encompassing dYdX derivatives exchange, Dfinity cloud computing network, Maker Stablecoin provider, and Oasis Labs cloud network “privacy-first”-all four of which are in the active portfolio of a16z.
