Ethereum’s price loses value below the 21-day SMA critical support. This suggests that the cryptocurrency will plummet in the future. Ether is gradually dropping, but is above the $4.300 support level. The 21-day SMA barrier has halted the upward momentum. The cryptocurrency’s price has shown yet another drop. On August 26th, a retraced candle tested the 50% Fibonacci retracement.
The retracement suggests that ETH will drop to the level 2.0 Fibonacci extension, or $3,750.72 low. Meanwhile, Ether is gradually approaching the 21-day SMA. At the time of writing, Ether was valued at $4,313.

The cryptocurrency price bars are caught between the moving average lines. The 21-day and 50-day SMAs are trending upward, confirming the recent uptrend. On the downside, Ether is projected to fall to the 50-day SMA support. A break below the 50-day SMA support will indicate the resumption of the decline.
