BTC Price Falls Further More After Russian Official Accepts Bribes in Bitcoin

Another theft incident happened lately in Moscow as the frequency of cryptocurrency hacks or thefts declined. Marat Tambiyev, the chief of Moscow’s Tversky District Investigative Department, allegedly accepted payments from the hackers under investigation in the amount of roughly 1000 BTC.

Marat Tambiyev has over 1,033 BTC in his possession, as the Russian Investigative Committee discovered through further investigations. Coincidentally, since this data was made public, the market has been under pressure to decline. At roughly $31,000, the price of Bitcoin reached its highest point of the year before declining.
