Ethereum’s (ETH) price holds above the moving average lines as it declines from the $2,700 mark. The bears pushed the price lower after it fell below the 21-day SMA support. The bullish trend has increased to a high of $2,668. Ether has been repulsed every time it has approached the $2,700 resistance. However, if purchasers break the $2,700 barrier, Ether will rise above the $2,800 level.
The positive momentum will continue up to $3,400. However, if the altcoin turns down from the $2,700 threshold, Ether will resume its range-bound movement between $2,400 and the $2,700 high. Today’s bullish momentum has stalled below the $2,700 high.

The price bars for Ether are above the moving average lines as the largest altcoin begins its bullish momentum. There are long candlestick wicks pointing at the $2,700 barrier.
