Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, recently announced its ongoing efforts to integrate the Bitcoin Lightning Network (LN) into its system to enhance the user experience with deposits and withdrawals. In a tweet on Tuesday, the company confirmed its progress while acknowledging the need for additional technical work before the network is fully integrated.
Binance’s decision to adopt the Bitcoin Lightning Network comes as a response to network congestion issues that had resulted in delayed BTC withdrawals. To tackle this challenge, the exchange made the necessary adjustments to transaction fees and commenced the implementation of BTC LN withdrawals. By leveraging LN, Binance aims to alleviate the network’s burden, providing a more efficient and cost-effective solution for users.
