In previous price action, the crypto price was caught between the moving average lines for a week until breaking above the 50-day SMA. The altcoin rose to a high of $98.29 before falling below $97. The upward trend has weakened as the altcoin retraced above the $94 support level after hitting the $98 barrier.
The cryptocurrency asset is likely to appreciate while in the bullish trend zone. According to the price forecast, Litecoin will advance to $101.38, or the 1.618 Fibonacci extension, if buyers conquer the $97 barrier. The altcoin is now trading sideways below its recent high, with the bullish trend still to be determined. Litecoin is valued at $95 at the time of writing.
