TapJet, a firm that provides private jet charter service and is a partner with Blockchain, has released an amicus brief for the continuation of the use of Ripple as a substitute for fiat tokens. In their brief, the company noted that the customary banking system, at times, fails to work efficiently, especially at the end of the week; hence, the need for XRP to remain an alternative payment medium.

TapJets receives XRP from clients who intend to reserve private jet travel using cryptocurrency. This comes after the recent Judge Analisa Torres’ verdict, helping the company’s battle with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Key XRP Levels to Watch — October 17

The ripple coin has finally broken out of the symmetrical triangle within which it has been stuck since May. XRP, like most other coins, went through a long bearish phase but has since the middle of September continued to rise.

XRP has gone on to reach the restriction zone at $0.5490 twice since the breakout occurred. The price is, however, on its way to retesting the restriction zone, which now serves as support at $0.4480. A similar move has occurred two times since the price first reached the milestone.

Since the 16th of September, the SuperTrend indicator has turned green on the market, indicating that the XRP market has been largely bullish despite the fluctuations at the top level. Meanwhile, the TSI has been ranging above the signal line since the price crossed on the 16th, depicting the average momentum at which the market moves. However, due to the retest motive of Ripple, the Parabolic SAR shows that the coin is currently bearish.
