Ethereum (ETH) Price Analysis June 21, 2025

Ethereum’s (ETH) price has fallen and broken below the moving average lines and may drop to $2,300. The largest altcoin was range-bound in the recent price action, falling below the $2,800 barrier and above the $2,400 support. Ether was compelled to resume selling pressure following four unsuccessful attempts to keep the price above $2,800. The bears’ break below the moving average lines suggests that the cryptocurrency will continue to drop.

The initial slide on the downside will occur above the $2,300 support level. However, if the bears break through the support at $2.300, the negative momentum will continue to the bottom of $2,000. If the current support holds, the range-bound move will start between $2,300 and $2,800. As of now, the altcoin is valued at $2,420.

ETH Technical Indicators Reading

The horizontal moving average lines are above the price bars. This suggests that the cryptocurrency may be on the decline. The selling pressure will begin as soon as the price of the cryptocurrency drops below the 50-day SMA. The moving average lines on the 4-hour chart are horizontal, but the fall is indicated by the 21-day SMA being below the 50-day SMA.

Conclusion  

Ethereum is currently trading below the moving average lines and may drop to $2,300.. Negatively, Ether will drop to $2,300 and then rise again. However, a further drop below $2,300 is not possible. The decline has currently halted above the $2,400 support level.
