Ethereum’s price is at risk of losing $4,000 key support as it faces further rejection. Following its recovery, the upward corrective was halted at the high of $4,761. The rejection suggests the resumption of selling pressure. On August 18, a retraced candle body retested the 50% Fibonacci retracement level. The retracement predicts that Ethereum will fall to the 2.0 Fibonacci level, or $3,170.86 low.

The bearish momentum has been supported by price action, with the bears breaching the current support level of $4,069. Today, Ether is worth $3,933 after losing the critical support level.
