Ethereum’s price slips below the moving average lines but stays above $2,800. Since November 21, the largest altcoin has consistently traded above the $2,600 support but below the moving average lines or the $3,400 resistance level. Today, the altcoin is rebounding after hitting a low of $2,783. Ether is trading above the $2,600 support level but below the moving averages.

On the upside, if buyers push the price above the moving average lines, Ether will test the $3,400 level. If Ether reverses from its current high, it will be compelled to trade in a range above the $2,600 support level. Ether is now selling at $2,888 as of writing.

The moving average lines are horizontal, and the 21-day SMA exceeds the 50-day SMA support. The price bars have fluctuated both below and above the moving average lines. On the 4-hour chart, the moving averages are sloping downward. The 21-day SMA is preventing the cryptocurrency’s upward movement.
