Revolut USD-to-stablecoin conversion has entered a new era. The popular fintech platform has launched a groundbreaking feature that lets users convert U.S. dollars to stablecoins — and back — at a 1:1 rate with no hidden fees or spreads. This change makes moving between traditional money and crypto faster, cheaper, and stress-free.

Revolut’s update applies to its 65 million users, who can now swap up to $578,630 every 30 days completely fee-free. According to the company, this move aims to make crypto as accessible and reliable as using cash in a regular bank account.

Announcing the feature on LinkedIn, Leonid Bashlykov, Revolut’s Head of Crypto Product, said:

“Today marks the day we remove all anxiety of moving between fiat and crypto. One dollar means one dollar.”

The 1:1 system covers USDC (Circle) and USDT (Tether), operating across six major blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, and Tron. Revolut will cover the exchange spread internally, ensuring customers always receive exact value — provided the stablecoins maintain their dollar peg.

This update follows Revolut’s newly approved MiCA license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, giving it permission to provide regulated crypto services in 30 European Economic Area (EEA) countries.

Helping Businesses in Challenging Economies

Experts believe this new Revolut USD-to-stablecoin conversion could greatly benefit small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in countries facing currency instability.

Elbruz Yılmaz, Managing Partner at Outrun Ventures, noted that small businesses often lose value when converting funds through multiple exchanges and networks.

“A true one-to-one ramp transforms stablecoins from speculative assets into usable capital. Faster cycles. Less foreign exchange loss. Better control,” Yılmaz said.

Revolut breaks barriers between fiat and crypto — users can now swap USD for stablecoins at a true 1:1 rate, no fees, no spreads.

By removing conversion fees, Revolut gives businesses more freedom to manage liquidity and reduce costs associated with international payments.

Revolut currently holds nearly $35 billion in customer assets — a 66% increase from 2023 — and supports more than 200 cryptocurrencies with options for crypto-based payments.

Fintech Industry Joins the Stablecoin Momentum

Revolut isn’t the only fintech exploring blockchain payment systems.

• Western Union recently revealed its plan to launch a stablecoin settlement network on the Solana blockchain by mid-2026.
• Zelle and MoneyGram are working on stablecoin-powered cross-border payment systems, aiming for faster, cheaper international transfers.
• Meanwhile, SWIFT, the world’s main banking communications network, is developing its own blockchain settlement layer for stablecoins and tokenized assets.
