The price of Litecoin (LTC) surges above the moving average lines hovers above the $120 support. Since December 9, 2024, the altcoin has traded in a band of $100 to $140. Yesterday, the altcoin rallied to the high of $132 but was repelled. Litecoin has retraced above the moving average lines. If the 21-day SMA support holds, the rising trend will resume.

Litecoin is expected to reach the valuable peak of $140. The altcoin will return to the $100 low if the bears breach below the moving average lines. The 21-day SMA support is still in place as the altcoin keeps rising. The price of LTC has risen to a peak of $121 as of this writing.

Litecoin (LTC) Technical Indicators Reading

The price of LTC will rise as long as the price bars remain above the moving average lines. On February 11 and 13, the cryptocurrency showed long candlestick wicks above the moving average lines. It indicated strong selling pressure at the most recent peaks. The sideways trend is still indicated by the moving average lines, which are still moving horizontally.

Litecoin has been trading sideways between the $100 support and the $130 resistance but hovers above the $120 support. The upward trend has paused below the $130 level.
