Ethereum’s price has been range-bound above $3,000 since December 3. On December 3, buyers drove the price above the 21-day SMA and retested it. The bullish momentum was halted at the 50-day SMA barrier, causing a sharp drop below the 21-day SMA support. However, bulls took advantage of the dips and pushed the price above the 21-day SMA support.
Today, Ether is trading above the $3,000 support but below the $3,400 resistance level. On the upside, if buyers break through the 50-day SMA barrier and the $3,400 resistance, Ether will rise to the $4,000 psychological price level. Ether is currently valued at $3,118.
