Governor of the Bank of Japan Haruhiko Kuroda met with new Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida today to discuss Japan, global economies, and financial markets, according to a statement. When asked about the Fed’s tapering, he explained that the Bank of Japan is in a unique position compared to western central banks.
